Videre is a leader in the use of ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) technology. What we do helps our customers to detect, deter and disrupt criminal activity and maintain security across a range of environments.

We work with all major manufacturers to supply, install, and maintain ANPR systems, ranging from roadside NAS compliant Police systems connected and stored on a Back Office Facility (BOF), to individual cameras locally operated systems to monitor and record vehicle movements or open gates.

We advise and reassure our customers on which system to install and how to use it, manage and maintain it. It is important to understand, for example, that ANPR cameras are completely legal for businesses to use in their car parks, so long as owners conform to the data protection act. You must make sure any data your ANPR cameras gather is used and stored legally.
